The break-in occurred at around 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at the Dowling College building in Oakdale, located on Idle Hour Boulevard.
According to Suffolk County Police, the suspects, all between the ages of 18 and 19, shattered a window on the Racanelli Learning Resource Center using bricks.
Once inside, they reportedly broke several items and stole school property. The group then fled the scene.
Police did not elaborate on the nature of the damage or say what was stolen.
On Thursday, June 1, police arrested two 18-year-old men, one from Patchogue and one from Brentwood, on charges of third-degree criminal trespass.
A third suspect, a 19-year-old man from Patchogue, turned himself into police Thursday night on a charge of third-degree burglary.
A fourth man, an 18-year-old from East Patchogue, was arrested at his home early Friday, June 2, on a charge of third-degree burglary.
All four men will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip.
